Can I order a sample?

Yes, please use the contact form to let me know which samples you require and arrange payment.

Payment is accepted via PayPal or bank transfer. Samples are £6 for one of my existing designs (excluding deluxe designs) or £10 for deluxe designs or a bespoke sample.

Samples are not personalised. They take between 7-14 days to arrive.

How can I place an order?

The first step would be to contact me to check my availability and order samples if you wish.

Based on your requirements I will create a quote for you. If you wish to proceed you would need to pay a 25% deposit to reserve your production slot.

You would then receive a receipt and confirmation of your booking.

4 weeks before your order is dispatched I would send you a list of all the information I require and the final balance would be due.

I’m not sure how many invitations I need yet, can I still reserve a production slot?

Yes, for a small booking fee of £40 you can reserve a production slot even if you are unsure of numbers or which design you want.

How much are your invitations?

Prices vary according to the design. They range from £2 per invitation up to £12.95.

Do you make matching stationery (table plans place cards etc.)?

Yes, I can make stationery to match any of my designs, please feel free to contact me for details, or visit my Facebook page where there are many photos of table plans and other items I have created.

Is there a minimum quantity?

For my handmade items there is a minimum quantity of 10 invitations. There are higher minimum quantities for some of my laser cut designs if you wish to have them in a non-stock colour. Please contact me for further details.

Are your invitations personalised?

My invitations are personalised with your wedding details, when creating your order I will ask for specific information to help me compile them. Guests names are not printed as standard, this service is charged for, please contact me for the current rate.

When and how do I pay?

It is very rare that I have immediate availability. Most of my bookings are taken in advance. Production slots are booked with a non-refundable 25% booking fee. Full and final balances are due 4 weeks before delivery. I take payment via PayPal or bank transfer. Please see my order process here or contact me for further details.

How soon would I receive my invitations?

It is very rare that I have immediate availability. I take advance bookings, reserved with a non-refundable booking fee. I’m usually fully-booked up around 2-3 months in advance. If you are interested in my designs please book your slot ASAP to avoid disappointment. My current availability is regularly posted on my Facebook page or alternatively you can contact me to find out when my first availability is.

I’ve seen a design I like one someone else’s website, can you copy it for me?

No, I cannot copy other company’s designs as it infringes copyright law. My products are also subject
to copyright and should not be replicated by others. Photos on this site are the property of Wedding
Invitations by Clare and should not be copied or shared without permission.

Can you use Disney/Marvel or any other images on your designs?

No I cannot use images from Disney or Marvel etc. It infringes their copyright and it is against the law
to do so.

Can you do design led/print based designs?

Unfortunately not. I specialise in handmade designs, I’m not experienced or good at graphic design. I
hope to go back into education later in life to learn this skill!

I’m interested in 2 of your designs, can I combine elements from both?

Yes! As my designs are handmade by me, there is some flexibility and I can combine elements,
change colours, fonts etc to match your ideas.

Can I order extra invitations after I’ve received my order?

Yes, but unfortunately it will cost you more. Extra invitations ordered after your initial order has been
received will be subject to a £25 surcharge as it contributes to unplanned workloads and higher costs.

Where do you deliver to?

My invitations can be posted within the uk, and Ireland. I don’t currently offer international shipping.
Orders are shipped via Royal Mail (samples, small orders under 2kg), ParcelForce (table plans and
larger items) or Collect + (large invitation orders). All packaged are insured to cover the value of the
contents. Please see my terms and conditions for more information.

Do you accept returns?

All items are fully personalised and made to your specification. Therefore items cannot be returned,
unless faulty. Proofs are issued for you to check before printing, and it is your responsibility to check
for any mistakes (we also advise you have someone else check them to). If you notice a mistake in the
printing on receiving your order, that was present in the the proofs (either your mistake or mine),
they will only be corrected at additional cost. Please see my terms and conditions for further

Do you have a shop?

No, currently I work from home. Most of my orders are placed and dealt with via email. Customers
are welcome to visit me to discuss their orders by appointment, I am based in Nottingham.
